Need Advice for Preparing the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Exam

Hey everyone,

I’m currently preparing for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate exam, and I could really use some guidance from those who’ve already taken it or are in the process of studying. I have some basic experience working with AWS services like EC2, S3, and IAM, but I’m still trying to get a deeper understanding of topics like designing resilient architectures and choosing the right storage and database options.

From what I’ve seen, this certification seems to focus heavily on real-world problem-solving, not just memorizing definitions. I’ve been following some online tutorials and reading the AWS whitepapers, but it feels overwhelming to figure out what to prioritize.

So, for those who’ve passed recently:

  • What learning resources or study methods helped you the most?

  • How much hands-on practice should I do before attempting the exam?

  • Are there specific AWS services or case studies that tend to come up often?

Any tips, experiences, or recommended study approaches would really help me (and probably others) get better prepared. Thanks in advance for your advice and time!
