I was having a heated discussion with my sister yesterday about the evolution of online privacy and digital identities. She thinks it’s vital to show your real face, but I argued that using a symbolic heart pfp allows for a level of creative expression and anonymity that a selfie just can’t provide.
I feel much more comfortable participating in public forums when I’m represented by an aesthetic image rather than my actual appearance. What do you all prefer for your main accounts? Are you team "real face" or team heart pfp?
