Arduino UNO or compatible

The Arduino UNO is a microcontroller board which you can program to interact with the outside world.


USB A-B cable

A USB cable is needed to connect the Arduino to the computer in order to program it.


DC power supply

The Arduino can be powered either through USB or with a power supply, 9 to 12V DC, 250mA.


LEDs

We are going to use a variety of 5mm LEDs.


220 Ohm resistors
