Chapter 6.1 - Customize your 3D model before printing it
Cura 3D is the software developed by Ultimaker to make 3D printing as easy
and streamlined as possible. It includes everything you need to prepare a
3D file for printing your model. Cura is fully preconfigured to
work on the Ultimaker.
We can drag 'n drop an .STL file into the Cura software and then try to move it, scale it, rotate it or mirror it. Be aware that if you scale your model too much, or if your model is too complicated, then the printing time and the amount of material it needs to print will be higher.
