Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick recommendation because I know how overwhelming it is choosing where to stay in Fes. I spent weeks researching and finally booked a place based on a recommendation I saw in an old thread here about the best riad fes properties. I ended up at this beautiful riad tucked away in a quiet corner of the medina and honestly it made the whole trip. The minute I walked through that heavy wooden door, the chaos of the medina just disappeared and I was in this peaceful courtyard with a fountain and orange trees. The staff were incredible - they came to meet me at the nearest taxi drop point because there's no way I would have found it alone, helped me arrange a guide, and made the most amazing breakfast on the terrace every morning. My room was simple but gorgeous with all these traditional tile details. A few tips if you're booking: check if the riad has a terrace (great for evening tea and watching the sunset), ask about airport transfers in advance, and don't be put off if it's down a narrow alley - that's totally normal in the medina! Happy to share the name if anyone wants to DM me.
