Is it selfish to want just one night off?

My friends are all going out tonight for a birthday celebration and I am stuck at home with my books. I can hear them laughing on their group chat and I feel so left out. I have been studying for my midterms for weeks and I am so tired of being the boring one who always says no. I know I need help with my assignment that's due on Monday, but I just want to go have fun for a few hours. Do you guys ever feel like you are missing out on your life?

I totally get that feeling. Sometimes taking a short break can actually help you come back more focused instead of forcing yourself to study when you’re exhausted. I’d finish the most urgent part first, set a time limit, and then enjoy a few hours with your friends without feeling guilty. I had a similar balance issue while looking into Apex Essays admission essay editing support, and planning smaller tasks made everything feel much more manageable.
