Considering an older Q7 but worried about transmission issues in Abu Dhabi

I'm looking at a 2013 Q7 3.0 TDI with about 150k km on the clock, price is tempting but I've read horror stories online about the ZF 8 speed developing torque converter shudder or valve body problems as they age. Since I live in Abu Dhabi and do a fair bit of stop start driving in the heat, I'm worried the gearbox might be a ticking time bomb. Does anyone have real world experience with owning a high mileage Q7 here? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth budgeting for an Audi Q7 Transmission Repair Abu Dhabi down the line or if I should just walk away and look for something else. Also curious what a proper rebuild or valve body replacement actually costs from a specialist, not the dealer, because I want to know what I'm getting into before I sign anything. Would love to hear from owners who've crossed the 200k km mark and how their transmission held up. Thanks.
