Upgrading the Noble Belt in Aion 2 is one of the bigger long-term progression goals in the game. The belt gives solid stats, but the real challenge is gathering all the materials needed to push it higher. A lot of players hit a wall once they realize the upgrade process is split into two parts: enhancement and rarity advancement.
To strengthen the belt, you first need Belt Enhancement Scrolls to reach +10. After that, you move into Substance Morphing, where Odal and other crafting materials become the main bottleneck.
Here’s the farming routine that worked best for me and many other players pushing their belts into higher tiers without wasting too much time or resources.
Farming Belt Enhancement Scrolls
The Noble Belt uses its own special Enhancement Scrolls. Regular armor enhancement stones will not work, so you need to focus specifically on activities that reward belt scrolls.
Clear Strongholds Regularly
Strongholds are still the most reliable source of Belt Enhancement Scrolls.
If you are leveling through regions like Verteron or Altgard, make sure you fully clear the available Strongholds instead of skipping them. Many players rush the main story and ignore side content, but Strongholds consistently provide upgrade materials that are difficult to replace later.
The good thing is that Strongholds usually reward more than just scrolls. You also get experience, gear progression materials, and useful crafting resources at the same time.
If your goal is belt progression, Strongholds should become part of your daily routine.
Finish Regional and Exploration Quests
A surprisingly large number of Belt Enhancement Scrolls come from green regional quests and exploration objectives.
Whenever you see question mark icons on the map, it is usually worth checking them out. These smaller objectives often reward scrolls, crafting materials, or consumables that help with overall progression.
This method is slower than dungeon farming, but it is steady and low-stress. It is also one of the better options for solo players who do not always have a group available.
One thing I noticed while farming is that players who fully clear maps tend to progress their Noble Belt much earlier than players who only focus on the main questline.
Complete Duty Quests Every Day
Duty Quests are another important source of progression rewards.
Open the Duty menu with the default hotkey and check the daily objectives before you start grinding. Some tasks only take a few minutes and can reward enhancement materials directly or indirectly through currency and crafting items.
Even when the rewards seem small, they add up over time.
A lot of players underestimate daily systems early on, then later realize they are missing dozens of enhancement attempts compared to players who consistently completed them.
Reaching +10 Is Only the Beginning
Once your Noble Belt reaches +10, the next stage starts.
This is where Substance Morphing becomes important. Instead of simply enhancing the belt further, you now need to upgrade its rarity tier. For example, moving from Green to Blue quality requires additional crafted resources and transformed materials.
This stage usually takes much longer than the early enhancement process.
Farming Odal Efficiently
Odal is one of the most important base resources used in Substance Morphing.
The easiest way to collect it is by searching cities and populated areas carefully. Many players ignore resource gathering while traveling between quests, but consistently picking up Odal over time creates a huge stockpile later.
It may not feel valuable at first, but once you begin rarity upgrades, you will burn through materials very quickly.
Because of that, I recommend gathering every Odal node you see even if you do not immediately need it.
Using Substance Morphing Properly
Substance Morphing is basically the bridge between raw gathering and belt rarity upgrades.
Inside the crafting menu, you can convert Odal into Oracle and other specialized resources needed for breakthrough upgrades.
This system saves a lot of farming time because you can directly transform common materials into the exact resources your Noble Belt requires.
A common mistake is spending Odal on random crafting projects early in the game. If your priority is belt progression, save as much as possible specifically for Morphing.
Higher rarity upgrades become extremely expensive later on.
Level Up Your Gathering Professions
Gathering professions matter more than many players expect.
As you increase your gathering level from Novice toward Professional ranks, you improve important gathering-related bonuses like Lady Luck and Delicate Touch. These stats improve your chances of getting better quality materials and bonus yields while harvesting.
That means better efficiency over time.
Mining minerals and gathering gems may feel repetitive at first, but high-level gatherers end up saving huge amounts of gold because they can produce many rare materials themselves instead of buying them from other players.
